Samantha???s Bathing Costume?

I have been watching some Samantha?s Piney Point Bathing Costumes on eBay, (I could kick myself for not getting it when I had the chance!!!!! [img]mad.gif[/img] ) and some of them weren't complete (if I'm buying one, I want it as complete as possible!!) One particular auction, though, said they came "wool tights" and all of the Pleasant Company catalog pictures that I have seen picture Samantha wearing black tights. I checked Meg and Curt's sites (which are both great BTW... [img]smile.gif[/img] ) but I couldn't find it listed anywhere.

My question for all you board members who have this outfit is did the original 1997 LE outfit (NOT the new one) come with tights, or a hair bow? I appreciate any help!! [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/rose.gif[/img]

Mine came with a pair of knee highs in navy blue and no hair bows.

We have the original outfit, but I'm not sure exactly where it is. I have the catalog where they first announced the Special Edition outfits, and it says it comes with the two-piece bloomer suit with overskirt, matching shoes, a straw hat and the life buoy. No mention of a hair ribbon or socks. She is wearing what look like dark socks or tights in the photo, but I think they are the ones from her meet outfit.

Mine (from 1997) came without tights and with a straw hat.

The tights she's wearing are, I believe, her meet tights.
